A comfortable friendly hotel in a very convenient position pleasantly outside the touristy part of town.
staff very helpfull - private parking, even if 15 euros/night - possibility to let the car in the parking even after check-out - tramway 2 minutes walk from hotel - clean room and bathroom - good breakfast
very small TV but we were not here for that
Good position, friendly staff, good price. We're not disappointed at all.
Internet access in rooms is provided through LAN cable only. Did you think of those people using iPad or smartphone (as I do)?.. ))
very comfortable with friendly staff and a good breakfast
Although the wi-fi service was gratis, dont expect too much. It was extremely weak during my stay and found it very difficut to do any work/surfing whilst there
When we arrived we were asked to pay immediately for the full five days. We explained that we may leave a bit earlier and were assured that in such case we would be fully reimbursed. On the morning of the third day we had advised we would be leaving after four days. We were told there would be no refund. I asked to speak to the boss, Mrs H., described the assurance we were given on arrival and she still refused to refund. After an extended discussion she arbitrarily promised she would send 100 Euro to our Visa account. This is a dishonest dealing; we will never return to this hotel and I will write about their dishonesty comment on the Internet information about their hotel. Dr Paul Grof
I like the outlook of the hotel. I really love the cosy feeling of this hotel and all the receptionists that I have encountered are so friendly! I have encountered at least 4 of them and each of them are so helpful. Very very good experience for the first time. :)
The location is excellent with any place in Prague within easy reach on foot or public transport. The breakfast, though by no means impressive, is decidedly above average Czech gastronomical standards. If you happen to have a room facing the inner courtyard, Arbes is a wonderfully quite place. If your room faces the street, it is still reasonably quiet. The staff is friendly and helpful. The minibar is quite affordable.
I stayed at Arbes twice and the hotel room provided vastly different experiences on the two occasions. During my first stay, the room was clean, modern and spacious. During my second stay, I found myself crammed in a shabby, claustrophobic environment. The room gave an impression of a converted closet. The wardrobe was small and had only one tiny shelf that I could not fit my stuff in. The bathtub was about four feet long and there was no place to hang or put the towels in the bathroom. There was no bedside table. The bedside lamp was protruding from the wall at a funny angle, which your head was almost certain to collide with when getting up. The bed had no headboard on the side where the lamp was located, which made sleeping quite uncomfortable. Solo travellers should definitely avoid room 340 and its lookalikes on the floorplan.
Perfect price, good breakfast, good location...
а lot of space room, cheap minibar
Poor bathroom facilities, private hotel parking too expensive
Hotel is located in cool place - there are not so many tourists in this part of city but still it is very close to old Prague. Nice restaurant just in front of the hotel entrance. Wifi connection is perfect anywhere in the hotel. Also very nice breakfasts
No a/с! If you have long hair better take your hair dryer with you- the ones installed in rooms are not powerfull enough so drying hair will take much much longer
The Arbes is close to the tram line and if you like a long walk you can walk along the river to the St. Charles Bridge and to Old town. They provide a very good buffet breakfast in a pleasant basement room. There is wi.fi. Throughout except for the breakfast area.
We were put in a corner room which was extremely cramped, even by European standards. It was a disappointment and they told us it was the last room.
i know English not very good for write
The best location for public transport, because near tram stop and metro station The best location for shopping, trip around sightseeng Te best price for service, quality location and interriere/
Good price for the location were it is (a few tram stops from the main attractions); very friendly staff; free internet connection.
Nice location - 15 minutes walk to Nerudova street, supermarket and some good restorants nearby, big shopping center just around the corner. Beatifully decorated rooms, comfortable bed. Friendly and helpful staff.
The price was too high (only excuse it was New Year) and did not match the quality - the breakfast was really poor and in my towel was a big hole just in the middle...
