quiet area, very convenient to center and tram/metro station.
one very disinterested, unhelpful receptionist/front desk clerk. very bad attitude problem. certainly does not know how to be polite, never mind be helpful to guests. This was only one fair haired lady who thankfully only worked two days/nights during my stay.
It was our eight visit to the Arbes and it is an excellent hotel for a city break. The position close to the trams is helpful. This time when we were stranded in Prague because of snow the hotel couldn't do enough for us and we would recommend the hotel and staff to anyone.
Not far from city center and metro station
Very strange hotel - the street door is always locked. You can not leave/enter hotel without having the lady on reception to unlock the door. Room key are must be stored on reception - if not they initiate long discussions about the security and etc. Rooms are small and not confortable, the shower is awful - when you are inside you can not close the door. the water from the shower goes out to the carpet in the room.
Close to metro (Andel) in a very nice quiet area. Helpful english-speaking staff. Free fast Internet in the room! Low prices for double rooms.
Breakfast is really poor. No hot meals - only bread, cheese, ham and cereals. No conditioning/climate control in the room - not a nice thing when it's +30 outside.
comfortable, lovely hotel with very friendly and professional people working for it. Quiet guests, clean rooms, quick internet, high level of security, sufficient breakfast, convenient location Thank you for making my stay at your hotel such a pleasure.
Price for that quality, no very attractive breaksfast
Rooms + bathroom renewed and clean.
Poor staff at the reception.
The staff - always smiling, wanting to make your stay pleasant (and succeeding in doing it), helping way beyond the paid for.
The towels shelf - it's inside the bath so you always wet it while taking a shower. And there is no place in the bathroom to move them to.
The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The location was convenient for the meetings I had to attend and the price was reasonable for September, which I know is always a very busy month in Prague.
I realise that I booked the cheapest single room but the room was very small with two small single beds end-to-end against the wall, with a small wardrobe between the heads of each bed. Also, the hotel was advertised as having fee wifi but this had a very weak and unuseable signal in the bedroom and only slightly better in the reception area.
It was great to be able to park the car there during our visit and not have to worry about it being out on the street.
Location of the hotel is perfect. 28 rooms, big, high ceiling. Quiet neighborhood, not to far from amenities. Stuff are very helpful and deserve 10+. Auto parking is OK. It's under lock and constant surveillance. Just 7 places, but 10 can fit. Close to hotel are restaurants with normal prices. People, when in Czech, change money (€ or $ to Czech korunas) ONLY in banks and hotels!!!
Good location, relatively close to the city center.
At the entrance to the breakfast there was an announcement "it's strictly prohibited to take out the meal". I was feeling like everybody around wants to steel something from the hotel. When I was checking in the administrator counted twice more money than it was on booking. When I corrected her she apologized, but what if I wasn't attentive? The overall impression was quite depressive - small dark rooms with old furniture.
The location of the hotel is great, close to tram stops and metro station.
The beds are really hard and uncomfortable. The street noise at night renders uninterrupted sleep pretty much impossible. The skylight window on the top floor doesn't come with shutters and the sunlight in the morning wakes us up. We made reservation for a double-bed for instead got two single beds at first.
Very good location, close to city center (10 min walk)
Room very small
wide choice of the breakfast, friendly staff- they can speak english very well
at first, it was a little bit hard to find this hotel. but if you have a map, no matter.
